About me

Originally from the south of France, my journey into health and well-being began over 15 years ago when I trained as a massage therapist and beautician. My curiosity and love for learning soon took me across the world, starting in San Francisco, where I learned english and trained in Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and Myofascial Release. That’s where I truly found my identity as a therapist.

From there, I followed opportunities to Bora Bora, where I worked in a luxury spa setting before eventually settling in New Zealand, a place I now call home. Over the next five years, I worked in high-end hotel spas in Queenstown, treating people from all walks of life and further refining my craft. With experience across cultures and continents, I’ve learned not only techniques, but the importance of listening, to both body and story.

My interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine came from personal experience. Acupuncture transformed my own health, and I felt called to study it more deeply. I completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture here in New Zealand. My training now allows me to treat a broader range of conditions, combining acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion and soft tissue work with the hands-on knowledge I’ve gathered over 15+ years of massage therapy.

Today, I practise at Topnotch Bodywork in Massey, West Auckland. When I’m not in clinic, you’ll find me in my garden growing herbs, cooking, enjoying a glass of red wine by the fire place (in winter) or in the sunshine (in summer), or moving through practices like yoga, qigong, or a run by the water, anything that helps me stay grounded.

I work with people seeking relief, peace, and reconnection to their body and its natural rhythm. My goal is to help you recover from injury, reduce pain, and regain balance so you can get back to playing your favourite sport, spending quality time with your kids, and enjoying everyday life.

Why Bodyssey? Bodyssey is a name that reflects my philosophy: that healing is not linear, it’s a fluid process, a lifelong relationship with ourselves, health is not a fixed destination, but an ongoing journey.

My mission

My mission is to help people live pain-free, so they can return to what they love doing, whether it's running, walking your dog, playing with your kids or carrying your newborn. With acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion and 15 years of experience in Massage therapy, I support each person’s unique journey toward relief, balance, and wellbeing, helping them restore their rhythm.

My vision

I envision a world where health is not seen as a fixed state, but as a living, evolving process. Rooted in the belief that our bodies are fluid, I honours each person’s natural rhythm, offering care that nourishes body, mind, and spirit. My aim is to guide people back to a sense of wholeness, where healing is not just about alleviating pain, but about nourishing and restoring vitality.

"Thank you, Margaux, for your professionalism. I had been struggling with persistent neck tension and relying on regular pain relief. Margaux quickly identified the root of the issue — my jaw! I had no idea I was clenching, and although I’d had jaw pain for years, I had simply learned to live with it. Her treatment was truly a nurturing experience for both body and soul."
